We’re proud to announce that the Great Place to Work Awards™ have named us as the 2nd 'Best Workplace in the UK' in the 'Small Organisations Category for 2021'.
The awards celebrate companies with positive, supportive environments that enable their organisation to thrive. And this year, as well as looking at how we operate in general terms - our culture, our push for greater D&I in the workplace, our emphasis on career development, our values and ethics - they also took into account our response to COVID-19, with our teams providing feedback on our leadership response to the pandemic.
This is only our second time entering the awards, and we are delighted to have received stronger feedback and better scores in almost every area, especially during such a challenging year. We were particularly happy to score so highly in Support, Communication, Engagement and Camaraderie – achieving an average of 98% positive scores across all responses to the survey - and being recognised as a 'Centre of Excellence in Wellbeing' for the second time was really important to us.
It goes without saying that none of this would be possible without the hard work, dedication and good humour of our team. So a big thank you to all of the PEN team and our associates for helping make PEN a really, genuinely great place to work.
