I like to solve difficult business problems; usually that’s in the context of large and/or complex organisational change programmes. Keep it simple, talk straight and “get things done”.
My mantra is to “get things done” at all stages of the change lifecycle – sort the strategy, clarify solution, architect the change, stand up the structures, implement governance & controls, lead, inspire, monitor and re-work where necessary.
Alongside, it is important to ask the difficult questions and get them answered.
Afterwards, celebrate with all the people who helped make it happen! It’s a simple philosophy, but after 30+ years, all I can say is that it seems to work…
